Preston and Grandad at Mack and Chery'ls Reception
Yesterday our Church and the Ephiphany Catholic Church across the street had the annual Christmas Concert.
Two Churchs ~ One Message
"Jesus is Born"
was on the title page of the program.
I loved it~
The Concert was amazing! Both Marci and Hope participated in it. It was professionally recorded and I can't wait to post some of it. If I can't get my hands on a recording, I'm sure Marci will have something I can steal from her blog. She always lets me do that~ (thanks marci)
Mike brought Ella and Addie to the concert but little Preston is getting over a cold just like Grandad so Preston came to our house and had some one on one time with Mr. Mark. Aren't they cute!
In the USA, Veterans Day annually falls on November 11. This day is the anniversary of the signing of the armistice, which ended the World War I hostilities between the Allied nations and Germany in 1918. Veterans are thanked for their services to the United States on Veterans Day.
Pleat the fabric: First, lay the fabric down, wrong side up. To make a single box pleat, crease both edges of a block of blue, and fold both creases so they meet in the middle, covering the blue; the red and white stripes will line up (H). Pin in place. Repeat along length of fabric. Remember to spray with starch and iron the folds as you go.
Sew along the top using a straight stitch. Remove pins, and flip fabric
REMEMBER It was the Veteran, not the reporter, who has given us the freedom of the press.
It was the Veteran, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech.
It was the Veteran, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to fair trial.
It was the Veteran, not the campus organizer, who has given us freedom to demonstrate.
It is the Veteran, who salutes the flag, who served under the flag,
and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who allows the protestor to burn the flag.

About Us........ This blog is about the moments that fill our lives. Honestly, there never is a dull one! Mark and I have been married 36 years and have 5 great kids and 7 adorable grand-kids. We've gone from California to New York and plenty of places in between. We've lived in some great cities including Dallas, Chicago, Memphis and Jacksonville. We love where we've landed in Texas and enjoy living close by, to our two married daughters and their families and my parents who also live in the area. It is always such a treat when we get to see our son, daughter-in law and their cute little boys who reside in Florida. Our younger son, is stationed at Ft. Riley for Advance Infanty Training with the US Army. He is currently deployed in Kuwait. We love his new bride and look forward to every minute we get to spend with her. Our youngest daughter was married in July 2015. She and her husband are living in Provo, Utah while attending BYU.
