Well, once again I'm madly in love or should I say obsessed....this new line of fabric from Paula Prass's newest collection, Summer Soiree' is amazing.

2 Tops + 1 Skirt

2 tops + 1 skirt = outfit {options}
We were on the look out for some little tops to embellish that would be cute with Heather Bailey's pretty fabric. We spotted these cute tank tops at Gymboree. The grograin ribbon with pink stitching was perfect. I added the emboidered flowers to match the under skirts.
...but I really wanted to try the tutorial for the ruffle sleeves from Jona's blog and I thought it would be nice to have another shirt to go with their Edith Twirl Skirts.
I picked these tanks up at Target when they were on sale.

Applique is so fun to do. I sewed little beads and added embroidery to embellish the flowers. Now Ella and Addie can have 2 looksfor 1 skirt.

Edith Twirl Skirts

I'm almost finished with the skirts for Ella and Addie. I need to get their waist measurements and they'll be good to go . I must say, I love PDF patterns! Jona does an amazing job. It's well written with great photos and it is suitable for beginners. I had so much fun. Now I really want to get this pattern . Isn't it adorable!
Working with Heather Bailey's fabric is such a treat!
I still have to play my little game.

....I think I found a new hobby! (just what I need)

I heart embroidery.... it is really fun.

I'm going to get the girls some little tank tops and try these sleeves.

THIS for THAT

It is pretty silly but I play this little game with myself. You see, today I really need to get my cleaning done. But I really don't want to clean. I really want to sew.
I'm soooo excited! My adorable, sweet, generous, friend, Cynthia, is letting me use her mom's serger while she's in Guatemala.
It is amazing! I've always wanted one, but I had no idea the time they save and I LOVE the finished look of the seams!

So, I made this deal with myself.

If you do THISthen you'll get to do THAT

Oops, blogging isn't in the deal! Well I'm going back to my cleaning so I can do more of THAT.
