"My Room" was due for a little re-do and some organizing.

I came across one of Kayley's cute plaques that she made for a sample a few years ago.
I hung it on the mirror.

We are getting lots of new babies at church which is so exciting! One of my favorite things to give are Ribbon Burp Cloths. Have I mentioned .... I really LOVE Ribbon! I stock up on cloth diapers when I see them on sale so I always have them on hand. Unfortunately, since I'm still kind of new in the blogging world I haven't been taking pictures of them, which is too bad. This is the one I made for the last shower I went to.

Little did we know when I made the white "fluffy" (as Ella says)dresses for Brittany's wedding we would get so much mileage out of them!

I've mentioned previously, I LOVE Ribbons! I'm actually obsessed. Poor Kayley inherited my disorder. We could spend hours in the fabric store admiring all the ribbon colors, textures and variety. I get so ex
cited when I find them on sale or spy any that are unique to add to my collection. They don't go to waste either. I use them for sooo many things.
They really are the perfect embellishment!
Over the years there has come to be this dilemma " how to store" all the beautiful ribbons. Several years ago I saw this idea of putting dowels through a tray. I just wish I could find another perfect tray. This one was from Southern Living and had the pre-cut holes which are perfect.
Last year I found these Ribbon Drawers.
They are great because you can stack them. I tested them out for myself and loved them so much I put them in my e-store.
Guess What! I found out there are a lot of Ribbon Freaks out there. I came across some other fun ways to store ribbon. I love this girl's idea from Capture the Moment.
RIBBON SPOOLS
She uses wooden spools that you can buy at craft stores or may even have on hand.
I'm definitely going to do this for some of those smaller pieces that are not on rolls.

These Ribbons are rolled around paper towel holders. I love this idea!

The Ribbons shown in these two pictures are wound on cardboard and chipboard:

pink and green with all the wedding plans. I even find myself wearing it inadvertently! Kayley and I are both big time ribbon fanatics! These are some of the ribbons we have ordered for the wedding.
We have quite a collection of pictures to draw from for inspiration. These are some of our favorites.
She just ordered favor tins with personalized pink and green labels.....of course.
