There's just something about walking into a house with cookies baking in the oven. Today I decided that would be nice for Scott and Hope after school. It is just too hot to be baking cookies all afternoon, so I decided to make my good friend, Kathleen's, recipe.
She calls them:
Chocolate Chip Brownies
Beat together until smooth-
2 Cups Brown Sugar
1 1/2 Cups Vegetable Oil
1 Cup Sugar
4 Eggs
Add and mix well-
1/2 cup Milk
1 tsp. Baking Soda
2 tsp. Baking Powder
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 tsp. Salt
Mix in 5 cups flour and one package chocolate chips. Grease and flour 15 X 20 pan. Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes. May need extra time, test with a tooth pick.

It looks like you may need us to help eat all those tasties :-)!
Looks like I need to go back to school and come over to your house afterwards! I will have to take note of your idea and replicate it for Chase's first day of school :)
Oh yea, I'll be making these for sure!
