Wednesday Kayley and Scott had their first trip to the Houston Temple. We stopped on our way for Mexican Food, the perfect start to a wonderful evening. We were so sad that Mike had to work but Marci was able to come with us (thanks Scotto for babysitting Ella and Addie).
Marci took this picture of Mark and I with Kayley and Scott and Scott's parents, Lorna and Phillip.I just love how Marci's mother-in-law, Diane, phrased the day "... a parent pay day". I couldn't have said it any better! I have loved getting to know Diane better over the past few years. She is so amazing and I must say did a fabulous job raising Mike!

I owe you Diane!!!Marci's friend Janna Beecher is flying in from Florida to do the Bridal Pictures Thursday and the Temple Pictures Friday. She had a previously booked wedding for Saturday and is taking the last flight out on Friday but unfortunately will not be able to stay for the reception.
I just love Janna's style and am thrilled she was willing to come!

We are so excited for you guys. We wish that we could be there. We enjoy be able to go on a few times a week to see how everyone is and how everyone is growing up. Please take lots of pictures so we can see how wonderful next Friday is. We miss you guys tons.

I am so happy for Scott and Kayley! What a beautiful day for you and your family to attend the Temple with them. It is one of those great moments when you are so gratified to see their good choices, hard work and discipline have made them the great people they are and brought them to this good time in their life. Even though the credit goes to them, it is nice think you can take just a little for yourself :)
ps. We feel very blessed that Mike married into such a wonderful family.
